The worst thing about Germany is that no one is critical when the German boxer get an undeserved victory.
It is never mentioned in the media and boxing fans will not feel embarrassed, almost the contrary.
Also the German commentators are truly awful.

No doubt Germany is the most corrupt boxing nation:deal
Danny Green had Beyer on toast after knocking him down twice in the first 2rds,then he was deducted 2 points and the fight went to the scorecards but when the promoter and the doctor realised they were still behind on the cards they went ballistic!
The doctor was abusing the judges and the ref which is something i have never seen in my life:patsch
Then the promoter has a word to that fat **** ref bill clancey and he turns around and changes his mind 5 mins after the fight had finished and says its a D.Q.
But at the end of the day what else would you expect from dishonest germans.

One of the misconceptions about the german officiating is a huge overlooked fact: just how many american fighters are any good when it's their turn to be the road warrior? The batting average is terrible and what you seldom see is any sort of A+ effort. More like the guy shows up with his B game when they aren't surrounded by the comfy home cooking.

Thats an extreme example. But you could look at the likes of Dzinziruk and Santos. No way was Santos getting a close decision in Germany, no way at all.

Robberies happen everywhere. Think about Martinez vs Cintron or the 120:108 scorecard in the Khan vs Kotelnik fight. Boxing is just not fair, when you're away from home.

    Santos lost it pretty clearly.

Thanks for pointing that out, but he would not have won a close decision is what I meant.

The Reid fight on the other hand was a farce.

That sounds like the Reid fight on steroids. When you were fighting Ottke you were not supposed to win, everyone knew that! :p

I'm not sure the Germans care much about that Ukranian gringo Dznziruk but I agree.
