wins over the most consensus top 20 pound for pound fighters?

    whatever our preferences i dont think you can say that any of Charles, Louis, Moore, Gans, Ketchel or Walcott..are a class or a tier above Duran, Hearns or Hagler

    Well, Hearns and Hagler made my top 20 !
    And Duran, of course.....And Benitez is one of my favorites, maybe made a top 50.....

    my opinion.....

    Jimmy Bivins - Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore and Burley.....
    How about Jack Johnson ? Fitz, Langford and Ketchel....

    really good picks there vic! bivins especially. i always forget that he has wins over charles and moore... tend to remember the seven or eight times he was second best to them.

    so we have marciano (4-0), charles (6-0) and bivins (3-8?) for sure. johnson (2-0) and langford (2-0) certainly have wins over two each, touch and go for three each based on ketchel's status as a top twenty great... wouldn't say he's consensus, could be wrong though.

    charles still reigns supreme with six wins against the elite of the elite. only louis was past prime. although for sheer quality it's hard to look past langford's pair of wins over gans and walcott.

    Well, In my opinion Ketchel isn´t a top 20 p4p.....But I know some people disagree....

    actually i can, with the exception of duran who is a top 10 lock. I don't feel the same way about Hearns and Hagler. the bolded all have done quite a bit in their time, read the records, watch the fights you can and you might see it everyone my way :good

    Jim Jeffries has Corbett (2), Fitz(2), Jackson and a draw with Choynski. All of these were consensus top 20 fighters at this time. that is 5-0-1

    And of course, Jack Johnson is hard to beat with .

    Jeffries, Fitzsimmons, Langford, Burns, Ketchell and the ND with O Brien. All 5 were probably top 20 all time consensus at the time they were fought.
