Holy moly man! I know boxing fans can simp hard for their favorite boxers, but this is extremely dismissive thinking on your part.

Now you've moved on the bigger, burlier and much hairier objects of affection.

Nothing I said was wrong. If Bivol had come back down from HW and drained himself into a corpse to get there and Beterbiev KOed him then this forum would be in meltdown. Even worse than it is right now.

RJJ actually looked good in the 2nd fight better than he did in the 1st fight he just got caught with a perfectly timed shot.

Antonio Tarver KOing P4P number 1 RJJ in one of the best KO's of all time -------> Beterbiev winning a highly controversial decision vs Bivol.

Stop man. He looked like nothing he did before he went up to HW.

Beterbiev threw about 1000 shots. Yes, many hit the guard, but the shots that got through certainly impacted Bivol, it was obvious by his pace slowing and face bruising. What scorecard/rounds for Bivol did you have?

Imagine thinking a controversial decision is better than a sublime knockout over the P4P number 1 fighter dear lord.....

Imagine ignoring all context with 1 win while applying maximum context with the other.

It's the overall pattern. B-Hop was past his prime and not expected to win most of those fights. Those fighters were all much closer to their primes and undefeated champions who beat other undefeated champions. Tarver beat RJJ the champion at 175 and excellent wins over Eric Harding and Montell Griffin, Pavlik beat Miranda and Taylor. So when B-Hop beat those guys it was based on all of them having deep resumes.

And so are you ignoring the context that Beterbiev's win over Bivol has a major asterisk over it because of the controversy over the decision.

Tarver KOing RJJ with one punch and giving him his real legit loss in 50 fights there certainly isn't no controversy in that.

Did not want to be reminded of that. One of the hardest fights to witness as a boxing fan. Hurts just watching a once great fighter like RJJ get crumbled like that. :(

Isn't ignoring context exactly what you are doing? You know who said Tarver fought a drained JOnes BEFORE their fight? No one.

You know who brought up Kelly Pavlik's drinkng problem before Hopkins beat him? No one.

Sounds like you'd tell people it's raining out AFTER they went outside and got wet.

Are we supposed to ignore new information once we discover it?
