Khaosai was in no way dominant. He dominated his opposition, but certainly did not dominate his division.

Hes probably already a modern ATG. You know people rarely fight more than twice a year now and its rarely against the top guys.

You can say exactly the same thing about someone like Ricardo Lopez.

It is what it is with some fighters. Some never had the big matches of their time made and they suffer for it. But in the case of some, like Lopez and Khaosai, I think they respectively showed they would likely hang with anyone.

Lopez beat the no.2 ranked fighter in his division.

Khaosai didn’t beat the no.1 ranked and was also dropped by not just underrated opposition like Kongtoranee but journeymen too.

I still rate Khaosai (he landed at no.5 on my top 10 115lbers list) but he’s not some insurmountable ATG and his title claim is weak as ‘eff.

EDIT: and let’s not act like I’m not a Thai nuthugger either. There’s no reason that I would be unreasonably down on Khaosai, you know me well enough.

As for Lopez? You know my thoughts on him too, even though I still give him credit. It’s not black and white, someone can be overrated and still great.

No, but the more inclusive it becomes the more it smacks of a participation award.

It's just a common theme in threads - asking if one is HOF worthy - so it's rightfully open to criticism with no disrespect intended.
