This is a stay busy fight more than anything else. Clenelo is a malignant tumor while SRR is one of the best stories in the sport. a stay busy title defense against s fringe contender is less insulting than a blatant cherry pick paper title grab. Youd rip Golovkin to shreds for taking that fight.

Lol Canelo just fought a ****ing monster in GGG twice. How are you going to get mad that he's fighting Fielding? And no, I wouldn't get mad at GGG now since he fought Canelo twice. Pre-Jacobs yes, forsure.

Maybe you should stop telling people what to do gimmick? I'm not even criticizing him for fighting Diaz. I'm just saying we should be consistent in criticism. Both Rungivisai and Canelo have been through tough fights recently, both of them deserve easy fights.

 

This is a complete mismatch and cherry-pick (and I like Wangek).

Díaz is a nobody, his only two name victories are Márquez and Concepción and they were both shot and he got a gift decision both times.

 

How am I trying to derail the RBR? Diaz/Fielding is a similar situation imo. Both been through tough fights, neither deserve criticism really for fighting these fights. Both Canelo and Rungivisai could have fought better opposition forsure.

 

Why are you bringing Canelo into this?
Canelo wanted to stay active and took an easy fight, while testing the waters at 168.
SRR wanted to stay active as well, but take it easy.

What does it matter which one is facing the better opponent? Canelo gets more flack because he is waaaaaay more popular and lot's of people hate him.
Barely anyone knows or cares about SRR, and those who do know him, like him.

So stfu and dont bring pointless arguments into this RBR.
