Round 6 Ruenroeng is curling his upper body in half, shrimping against the ropes with his elbows pinched together above his crotch and knuckles level with his brow as Wangek plugs away on him with both hands. Ruenroeng is becoming a bit of a heavy-bag on wheels. Less counters and even less clinching from him now, just absorbing the monotonous but destructive barrages Wangek is throwing at him in 2-3 shot bursts. 10-9 Wangek 59-55 Wangek

Round 7 Ruenroeng is taking stutter-steps inside to meet Wangek halfway and feinting with a jab before clearing out in the wake of big sweeping right hooks or line drive left hand leads from the more compact ex-champ. Wangek starting to work his jab more accurately now, taking advantage of Ruenroeng seeming to fatigue and not keep his guard up consistently anymore. Wangek painting Ruenroeng's face with that southpaw jab and using it to set up good slicing body combos, barking as he does in that annoying American amateur style. Ruenroeng getting lit up, in a shell just surviving basically. 10-9 Wangek 69-64 Wangek
Does look a bad cut when you see it up close but doesn't seem to be affecting Wangek's vision (due to its drip trajectory) and likely won't impact the outcome in the final three rounds..
SRR is turning it up a bit now. Might be able to get the old man out of there together if he can pile it on and land more clean shots.
Nine minutes seems plenty of time to douse the Flammable (no longer quite so) Young Man in gasoline and immolate him, unless Ruenroeng finds a second wind or a reliable counter-punch to get Wangek's respect.

Round 8 Ruenroeng is wrestling now in the pocket, jamming Wangek up with his elbows bent and both arms dragging inside as though mimicking a dumbbell fly or piece of pec deck gym equipment. Wangek pounding the body as much as he can on the way in, then attempting to just shake Ruenroeng off with bull strength but getting stuck in a quagmire as Ruenroeng whips both arms in, folded, until pressed up tight enough to stall with a clinch or shove. 10-9 Wangek 79-73 Wangek

Round 9 Ruenroeng is getting battered downstairs, and is only mitigating the assault somewhat better in higher altitudes, denying Wangek anything super clean when he is headhunting although every single blow does take at least a small chunk of Ruenroeng. Wangek is locked into that one gear, but outlasting Ruenroeng, grinding him down, and doling out some hurtful stuff while avoiding getting tied up for the most part. Ruenroeng's few counter jabs are just bouncing off Wangek's face, accomplishing nothing. 10-9 Wangek 89-82 Wangek
