April 4th @ Workpoint Studio. Showdown between Thai legends at different stages of their careers - or rather, at different points in their respective deterioration spirals. The sledgehammer-punching Wangek, aka Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, is coming off his first defeat in half a decade, to Juan Francisco Estrada in their rematch last April. He looked to have lost a step in that fight since his peak run in 2017-18, where he beat Román "Chocolatito" González twice and then Estrada. He will bring in nearly a full calendar year of ring-rust - which is a month less than Ruenroeng, whose last pro bout was in March of 2019. In the last five years the slick 40 year old - who reigned once for 2½ years as IBF champ at flyweight - has gone 3-3, and his last meaningful victory was over Myung-Ho Lee in his final successful title defense in 2015. He made an ill-advised return to amateur boxing after the rule change allowing pros to regress, and went just 2-3 with his Olympic dreams in 2016 dashed. He also got destroyed by Tenshin Nasukawa in a Muay Thai kickboxing match in 2017.
Kaikanha II would be a bit more interesting. But looks like he moved up to Bantamweight. No clue how that guy used to make Flyweight. He's massive. He looked 2+ weight classes bigger than Navarrete when they fought.
...tbf in general you can't just say "Kaikanha" w/o specifying...especially as this one (Nawaphon's older brother) is arguably much greater. https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/374137 (in this context though you did mention a rematch against Wangek, and that does narrow it down)
