    4th was a lot of fun. Roman made more significant contact, but Doheney fought him off with some fury after it appeared he was hurt, 39-36 Roman.

    It was 23 years and 11 weeks ago the last time a boxer nicknamed "Baby Faced Assassin" with Mexican ancestry fought in a super bantamweight title contest at the Inglewood Forum.

    Of course, MAB vs. McKinney sets the bar very (nigh impossibly) high, but this boxer-puncher vs. cutie-pie match-up is so far doing it a fair bit of justice. :deal:

    Quieter round, advantage Doheny. The slick Irish-Aussie is catching Román on the way in with nicely timed right jabs and staying off the ropes. Román tomahawks with the left arm to knock Doheny's jabbing hand down, but the left cross is then finding the mark to stay him before he can surge inwards and get off with anything besides maybe a grazing body shot.
