    Román is keeping his neck bent so that his face slides just clear of Doheny's jab, being rowed out in the same general area center-line, but Doheny is at the same time measuring Román, studying his defensive movements, waiting to uncork a big left cross at just the right moment. Intriguing chess match here. Román is tossing in long straight right leads but only grazing with them as Doheny is melting out and sagging at the knees to destabilize Román's offense, and snapping him with counter lefts.
