    Román is sweeping up a big hook, getting Doheny to back straight up into the path of the right hand. Some near misses. Doheny being careful, staying low, bouncing at the knees, pawing out right jabs. Román hurts Doheny with a couple of body shots. Doheny almost down by the ropes but weathers it and circles out to open water. ANOTHER BODY SHOT, Román drops him again! Doheny in loads of pain. Over a minute left on the clock. HARD JAB ON THE RIBS, causing Doheny to wince and double over, flush right hand on the chin by Román!! Doheny under fire on the ropes!! Huge barrage from Román! 48 seconds left. BIG explosive 1-2 by Doheny, a wounded animal. Román with another cracking body shot, Doheny's legs dip but he stays up. Jab downstairs by Román, digging hard. HUGE paintbrush left from Doheny.

    10-8 Román, almost 10-7 (as in could've been 10-8 without the KD)

    Great fight, classic styles clash, doheny just doesn’t have the power to compete which is a shame because he may well lose this on the knockdowns and he’s boxed fantastically
