:think:think:think I've been thinking this gameplan for awhile now, that TA should be working on bobbing & weaving in training camp ALOT for this fight, & on Sept. 10th use this tactic right from the start. That will accomplish many things. It will keep him away from VK's bomb's & make him miss alot. From down there, TA can go to the body, which he should do ferociously right from the start. After 5 rounds of nothing but body punishment from TA, VK will begin to slow down & then its time for Adamek to go upstairs. Stay low like he's been doing, get close & explode up into Vitali's nose with an uppercut with the hopes of breaking that nose. If the blood starts to flow, Adamek will finish him off with combinations within a few more rounds, mixing it up to the body & head. He has to be like a mix of Tyson & Harry Gerb, "The Human Windmill". Exploding up into his punches from down low like Tyson did & throw punches that come from everywhere, the way Greb fought. And then get the hell out. Footwork will be the key in this fight. Adamek has to be either inside VK's range or outside of it. And constantly make Vitali move in a circle. His balance can be taken advantage of then. Its gonna be something to witness. Vitali is gonna realize pretty quick that he's in there with someone who is NOT intimidated by his stature & reputation. :bbb
Fight with that kinda style. Bobbing & weaving. It can be learned & put into practice. Maybe thats why the camp is closed to the media. They don't wanna give away how diffferently Adameks approach to this fight will be.
Oh yeah, if Tomek can back VK up a bit by getting close & throwing flurries, thats when he really has to go to town!:deal Kinda the way this guy did...:!: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VawHgrLvbD4[/ame]
Been following boxing for 50 years. My Dad fought professionly during the Depression. I'm no youngster. Studied the game closely for A LONG time. :bbb This content is protected
I have never seen Adamek bobbing and weaving before and my guess is that they will not try to learn old dog new tricks before his most important fight. I agree though that this Joe Frazier type style would be great to beat the Klitchkos but unfortunately there is no Joe Frazier out there. As to Adamek's tactics i think that he will do the same things he does in his last fights: moving from side to side and jumping in with combinations to body and head. Problem is his punches have no effect on these big heavyweights.
jetski while at first your man love for ademek is very fanboyish and admirable....now its becoming a little annoying....no matter how you slice it, ademek is gonna get a giant beating soon....let it go my friend..let it go
Adamek should stay inside or outside of Vitali's range? Which one is it? With your brilliant game planning and strategizing, you might be the next Manny Nazim Roach.
Thats not an intelligent question, if I may say so. Adamek must mix it up as far as his distance from VK. Either be on the outside, away from Vitali's power, or move in to deliever his combo's where VK can not effectively land. Problem is, just don't get caught while closing the gap. Ya follow now?:!:
Why is it so annoying? Its not like I have tons of fighters that I get excited about. So please try to understand that this is a HUGE fight. One that Adamek may very well get starched in, but one also that could be history making for one of the most respected fighters in the game today. Respected, that is, if you are an intelligent boxing fan, Polish or whatever...
I disagree. Adamek is a smart enough fighter to adapt & employ some new techniques in his gameplan. When the opposition is as formitable as VK, I think you have to pull out some new tricks from his bag of weapons. It could backfire, but it could also help make him HW Champ. :bbb
OK...Fightweek is upon us. With all the breaking glass jokes, guessing their weight posts & wondering what round Adamek will get KO'ed in, maybe we can devote some serious time to trying to determine a fightplan for Adamek. We don't have to worry about Vitali's fightplan. It will be lean back for defense...lean forward for offense. Same old story. But with Adamek, his plan will be crucial to either success or failure. So what fightplan would be to his best advantage to try an execute a performance that will get him the victory??? :think
