No luck there after 4 fights. Marquez and Nacho got this shot practiced in the gym.

Knew that punch was there all night..

The "lucky punch" BS excuse is simply a security blanket for *******s to sleep easier at night.

It was evident from training tapes that JMM was practicing that specific punch
cause he knew Pac was vulnerable to it.

He had also been using the same punch in their previous fights.

JMM said before the fight he was going for the KO(just as Pac did).

Marquez was sitting more on his punches in that fight than he did during their previous fights.

It all comes down to simple whining from *******s unable to deal with KTFO6.

Nobody has been able to explain why it is they think Pacquiao got reckless when he often feints with that double jab to get off his straight left.

Pacquiao makes that same move all the time so how can you label it reckless?

Its not that he was reckless, but more that you just cant go to the well so often with the same moves againt a cerebral fighter like Marquez.

I've always said since before their 2nd fight when everbody was saying how so improved Pacquiao was after twice stopping Morales, that no matter how much Pacquiao improved boxistically, he could never match Marquez cerebral IQ when it comes to anticipating what the other is going to do.
Pacquiao just will never beat Marquez in an x's and o's contest and thats what got Pacquiao KTFO against Marquez, not his recklessness.

Pacquiao makes that double feint move all the time so you cant point to him having gotten reckless for that specific moment. What did happen is that Marquez anticipated Pacquiao reaching with that double feint and he reared back and delivered justice at the precise moment he saw Pacquiao making the move he so often does.

yeah but it may had the only double jab and going for the kill that pac did when their feet entangled so that pac wasnt able to put weight in his front foot.

it was not the punch per se. jmm landed similar punches throughout their fights, but the circumstances when he landed it.

im not going to say the power had a lot to do with heredia. im going to reserve judgement for that.

we will see if he accepts a bradley fight with vada on.

pacquiao was hit by the same straight right that round, ref bayless was blocking the view, so you couldnt see it clearly, but another angle caught it.

yes Pac tried to double feint him and get him with the right hand.

Marquez saw through the shenanigans because he's seen that punch multiple times throughout the 4 fights, adjusted well and bombed Manny out of there with a booming right hand

    No luck involved.

Pac and *******s almost died that night. :hi:

39 year old Marquez knocked 34 year old Pacquiao out.

    LOL!

He couldn't match Marquez when it comes to anticipating what the other is going to do because it's always Pacquiao who's making the first move. Pacquiao is the aggressor in this fight, Marquez is the counter puncher. While there are moments where Marquez presses the attack, the majority of times it's Pacquiao who's initiating it. Another thing you're forgetting regarding Pacquiao's improvement is his head movement, especially in the fourth fight. His head movement is mainly there to deceive Marquez as he slowly gets closer to him to land his shots. That's what that type of head movement is for.

For someone you consider will always beat Pacquiao in an X and O contest he still had two extremely close fights(the first and second), the third being the only one which I consider a UD(by two points) for Marquez and the fourth was a brutal fight where Pacquiao was actually doing more damage. The fourth fight was hardly a clear cut victory for Marquez before the KO, if anything it was Marquez who was looking battered and taking serious punishment leading up to Pacquiao's mistake. Sure, Pacquiao did make the mistake you said he did, it's in his blood/fight style. You can say he was carried by the moment and went face first as he was lunging in. He loosened up and tried to go for the kill, yes it's a pathetic move for a proven veteran and he paid the price for it especially against someone he fought three times already. In the end, credit goes to Marquez for withstanding Pacquiao's attacks and still showing heart and desire despite his situation.

I personally think that Pacquiao went overly aggressive in the fourth fight because he knew that the longer the fight lasts the better Marquez becomes. So he decided to be overly aggressive and it was working for him but eventually worked against him facing a top class counter puncher like Marquez. Marquez pretty much preys upon aggressive fighter's mistakes, that's what he does best.

It wasn't luck in a sense. Fighters always look for counters, set them up, and throw them. Sometimes they miss, they weren't quick enough or not timed quite right, or the other fighter didn't do what you anticipated them to do. Point is here if this wasn't lucky at all, JMM would have never lost a fight. However, to get the timing of your opponents punch, speed, power, and land in the right place when given the opportunity to counter isn't something the best fighters can do everytime.

was not the punch itself, it was the circumstances around it that made the punch lucky.

surely marquez can easily recreate the scenario to land the same punch if there ever is another fight, it was not a lucky punch after all.

easy right? for 3x the money? what seems to be the problem then?

The people who know boxing knows it wasn't no "lucky punch".

    That's all that really matters.
