Thats the key right there. If Marquez fights in the style convenient for him, the fight goes the distance and its a given that Pacquiao will get another bogus decision. Marquez knows this, so why go through that grief again?
The only way Marquez can be lured into a situation to get taken again is for the purse to be divided up the middle.

If's JMM KO of Poochiao was lucky, then Poochiao's Ko of Hatton was a lucky punch.

When someone asks about whether Marquez landed a lucky shot against Pacquiao and people starts saying that . . .

"Marquez has a higher KO percentage than Pacquiao." :patsch

Seriously, that's a poor response.. They simply did not fight the same set of boxers.. Imagine what Pacquiao would have done against the boxers Marquez faced.. :verysad

Well, he'd have 4 Draws with himself and likely Losses to '09 Mayweather and '13 Bradley.

Blah blah blah . Fact is Pac got KOed rushing in , which is why he has changed his boxing style ..
Pac himself said he got careless but then started to believe the punch was lucky to ease he fans bruised egos.

A guy's got to put in a ton of work to get rewarded with that kind of "luck". The odds on getting the perfect placement and momentum like that are low just because it was literally a perfect shot, but I wouldn't call it lucky. With enough time and opportunity, things will happen that are rare, but it's up to the fighter to take advantage. Marquez threw over 1500 punches over 40 rounds on Pac alone to get to the perfect shot.

Well said. It was a perfect situation and Marquez was prepared to take advantage of it. Sure there was suspicion about all of Marquez's "new muscles", but to me everyone is innocent until proven guilty and he was never proven guilty, so I dismiss anyone saying the KO was because of chems. Pac could taste a stoppage, got overly aggressive and paid the price. Marquez is far too good of a counter-puncher to over commit like that, especially when the man has had 3 previous fights with you to get to know all of your tells.

Pac got careless and got caught by a very lucky punch. Marquez was on his way to getting knocked out. Marquez hired the world's best steroid expert as his S&H coach, who was also the world's best at cheating on the drug tests. If Marquez was on steroids, then it helped keep him from getting knocked out.

Vladimir Klitschko beat the Hell out of Wach, but Wach survived the fight without getting knocked out, but after the fight it was found that Wach was on steroids................otherwise he would have been knocked out.............
