All respect, but that's the understatement of the year lol. Fury isn't a big puncher, never was and never will be. He was good at maneuvering Wilder into his shots in their second fight, but his punching power is overall limited.

Had Fury the power of those two you mentioned, he'd hold onto that title for at least another five years. As it is, sooner or later a big puncher is going to punch his clock. Wilder had him that first time, it was his ridiculous lack of finishing finesse that lost that fight for him. Had Fury been knocked down by Tyson or Foreman (or even prime Larry Holmes) he would have been doomed.

Lewis hits harder than Tyson because first of all he is bigger and more importantly he also turns that extra size through the punch and know how to plant his feet and turn through the punch and it's combining them two things together which is why he most likely hit harder than Tyson.
Fury, in the past, hasn't turned through the punches and didn't plant his feet and didn't punch with the knuckle, so that size what he had didn't really help his punching power because he was just flicking at times

I was expecting you to Compare common opponents or even bring the opinion of common trainers, and if none, other fighters and experts.
But that is a load of.......ummm......."not so" great facts to put it kindly. Especially the "he hit harder than him because he is so much bigger" thing......i quit.

You could say the same about Holmes vs Shavers.

By the same token you have to credit both men with the ability to hang in there against the lesser finishers they were up against and get the job done.

I said he is used the weight in his his punches by turning his weight into the punch, I never said the weight alone was the reason did I?

Lasted a lot longer than I did

Very disingenuous poster who often makes his opponents out better than they were such as pretending the '99 Holyfield was the same one who stopped Tyson 3 years prior as well as bigging up a shot 36 year old Fury opponent (can't quite remember the name) and making him out to still be in his prime. He's a fanboy who thinks his hero was this superman had no weaknesses and has excuses lined up for any of Lewis's weak performances or losses. If Lewis so much as trips when shopping, this guy would write a essay explaining how Lewis deliberately meant to do so. A fanboy of the highest order.

Oh thank you! Now i understand why there is no "quit" in him! the fierce, unforgiving fire that burned within him…a fire that made him keep fighting to defend Lennox Lewis by doing everything, including bringing up some of the weirdest facts i have ever seen.

How about the people naming Greb as one of their favorite fighters and picking him over well known greats despite having never seen him fight?

Or, even worse, the ones who come up with ways to say that he looked good in his training footage?

    How about them?

In the end, someone puts up a fantasy fight, say, Harry Greb vs Reggie Johnson. You can do one of three things: Ignore it because it contains a fighter who will never be seen; make a post saying you can't make a pick because one of the fighters has never been seen; or take a stab, based upon descriptions of his fighting style and your opinion of footage of his vanquished opponents.

It should be apparent which of these is more fun.

i'd say 9 out of 10 hamed posts on this forum are either degrading of his ability or celebrating MAB's win over him.

most certainly not overrated at all. if anything the other way.

edit: its actually weird how much bile naseem hamed brings about in some posters for his supposed (undoubted) arrogance in comparison to some other fighters whose actions outside the ring were those of psychopathic scumbags.
