And all Donaire wanted was for him to get a little experience, and yet people called him a coward

Now Donaire's being robbed of a PPV opportunity and a crap load of money just so u selfish spoiled brats can get what u want

Pathetic and irrelevant thread. If Rigo had lost that fight against Marroquin I would be the first to say Donaire would crush Rigo. I won't say who will win. That's not important. Fact is Rigo is a new, fresh opponent for Donaire and he has the intelligence and athletic ability to trouble Donaire. That's all that matters at this point. Only an idiot would want to see Donaire rematch a washed up old guy whom he's already decimated in Darchinyan.

Mathebula landed more shots on ND than he should. Vazquez scratched up ND's face quite significantly. Donaire can be hit - and quite often. Do I prefer Mares for Donaire? OF COURSE. But all things considered, Rigo is one of the best opponents for ND. Even if Rigo gets KTFO I would have no regrets making this fight.

While Rigondeaux is the second best 122 pounder in the world, I believe this will be a mismatch in Donaire's favor which leaves everyone wondering why the fight was hyped up so much. And afterwards, Rigondeaux will not be one of Donaire's 3 best victories.

yes. prepare to see Donaire looking confused and getting humiliated.

or a body shot KO to put him out of his misery

He does look vulnerable...but that video also shows his strengths. Very good timing, quick hands, and polished technique. Donaire can't just go in there trying to blast him out, or he might get hit with a big shot himself. It's going to be a battle of patience, timing and ring intelligence between two counterpunchers. Should be interesting.

It's really going to come down to, if Rigo can hurt Donaire. If he can't hurt him, he's going to sleep.
