With all the Jr. divisions, how many titles could SRR have won?

you found the one punch Marquez landed on Mayweather. Looks like he is catching him at the end of the punch.

Imagine putting SRR on modern training techniques that uses the benefits of Science...and nutrition. He had a tall frame which could have used some more weight. Now if his body would respond well to it, each person acts different so who knows.

He didn't even weigh 160 for his fight at 175/LH against Maxim.

And the way today's fighters are, I wouldn't be surprised if the amateur version of SRR could have gone Pro sooner which means, more weight divisions to conquer. Just remember, amateur fighting back then was just like a Pro fight except it was 3 rounds. That's why they were better prepared to turn pro than modern amateurs who are watering down the sport.

If by "modern training techniques," weight lifting is implied, Randy Turpin was noteworthy for his use of it at a time when it was virtually unknown for world class fighters to lift weights. He had some success, but not as much as weight lifting devotees might like to believe.

No, I don't think boosting his weight above what he was comfortable carrying would have been beneficial for Robby, whose speed, suppleness and mercurial mobility were essential to his success against heavier opponents. He was a sleek cat, who doesn't seem to fit the profile of somebody who would have benefited from additional weight. He wasn't Tommy Hearns, Michael Spinks or Bob Foster. (Bob, by his own admission, really did need the added weight to compete with the big boys, but he lacked the evasive hide and go seek qualities SRR could employ and needed against Maxim.) If Robinson had come in near 175 for Maxim, he might have succumbed sooner to the heat. His was not a good style for carrying more poundage.

    140 to 160. Maybe 135 to 160 , I don't know what makes people so heavy .

    Yes. 135, 140, 147, 154, 160, 168, 175(providing he doesn't fight Archie Moore).

J.G., SRR would have more belts hanging up in his house than J.C. Penneys.

He would have been outweighed in d ring as soon as 154 .
After some beatings he takes @ 154 & 160 , he fears d idea of 168 , where guys weigh more than 180 lbs in d ring . If he lost 2 Gene Fullmer , Randy Turpin & Jake Lamotta then how will he do against their bigger versions ? if he lost 2 Basilio , how will he do vs Joe Calzaghe , whom might have been more hittable due 2 his size but also more durable and a harder hitter due 2 his size , and much more rangier .
@ 160 Smith may very well had snatched some belt like Pacquiao did @ 135 , 147 (yes) & 154 , and then go down 2 where he feels @ his best .
D man was KOd 4 long by Artie Levine , how will he react 2 an Arthur Abraham or Kelly Pavlik punch , or even Sergio Martinez ?
Walker Smith simply did not belong 2d same weight class as these guys .
But since he could do d Pac thing & fight washed up former frauds @ catchweights , he might have added a belt @ 168 . 2 get 2 175 , he will have 2 do d SRL thing , so make it 140-175 .
Same as DLH whom had 130-160 , no1 breaks this record .
It is mostly up 2d promoters & managers 2 get 2 such feats .
