At this point Jones has achieved everything he could have hoped for and more when he started competing in MMA. He wanted to be a dominant champion and golden boy public hero. Well he's a dominant champion, but apparently now most people in the MMA world pretty much hate him whenever he's outside the cage. Including his bosses, many fellow UFC fighters and a huge slice of the MMA fanbase. He's young, famous, rich as hell and married. He's already gone off the rails for the first time in his personal life, and he's been at the centre of a huge controversy with the cancelled card. All of this is a lot of distraction, and the bad feeling won't be going away any time soon. Jones shows a lot of hunger to be the p4p ATG. But will all this turmoil and scandal, coupled with the many easy, dominant victories, take away from his performances in the cage? Will his desire to look spectacular lead him to making a big mistake and getting knocked out? :hat
Short version: A lot of the time, Jon Jones seems to act like a bit of a spoiled, entitled brat. If he doesn't get his way, he seems to brood about it. Will all the trouble around him distract him and make him more likely to be upset by a focused, hungry challenger? Or will Jones use his resentment to fuel a motivation to becoming even more dominant? :hat
