Will the Boxing Commission or the Nevada Boxing Commission change their current drug testing (urine) to the Olympic style drug testing (blood)? I'll bet you that they will stick to the urine testing. And after all of this controversy ends, PBF will continue to use the current system they have in place when he fights his next opponent.
I think a blood test after the fight is sufficient. Some random **** tests are fine but how far is the line?
We can't even have one champ per weight class and you guys think they can tackle PED in boxing :rofl:rofl
Well if he uses the Olympic style testing with USADA on his next fight then we know he is in it for fair play.
So who pays for this? Does this only apply to Vegas? What about international boxers and test labs overseas? What organization do you us, USADA or WADA? Back to first question, who pays?
I'd like more strict testing. The testing system is flawed and there's ways around it, even high-profile members of the NSAC have publicly stated so. But do we really want to know how many guys are on some sort of PED? It wouldn't surprise me one bit if the majority of fighters were on something, but others might be more surprised and disappointed.
It may be insulting but nothing outrageous. Hell, even well-known members of the NSAC have publicly talked about the ways to get around the current procedures used to test drug use.
