It's credibility if it hasn't lost it already. A sucker-punch victory of the unproven OrTrees and an upcoming fight with Cotto doesn't make him the number one even if Pac's last victory was controversial. Ring is not the Bible of Boxing anymore. More like Oscar's Bible where he controls the ranking. Sad.

RING still ranks Pacquiao #1. They did a year in poll of writers/fighters/trainers to decide the top 10 and Mayweather came out #1 there, but their own official list is still Manny #1 and Floyd #2.

Yup, getting a gift decision over a 38 year old Mexican Lightweight at 144lbs is the key to being number one isn't it...

Pacquiao is a glass jawed FRAUD. Arum and him must have paid off the judges hardcore, getting a decision like that. LOL.

I think it can be truly debated who is #1 and it can go either way. I wouldn't be mad at either guy being #1.

A win over a blown-out lightweight-and-got-cheated-on-the-scale Marquez an aging Mosley and a glass-hearted OrTrees doesn't make you number one. Meanwhile PAC gave it all fighting bigger fighters in Cotto Clottey and Margarito and hasn't lost a fight since so yeah, in a way yahoo and espn all lost credibility as well. :hi:

oh NOW they have lost their credibility :rofl:rofl apparently struggling against old mosley and losing to a 38 year old lightweight is enough to keep u at the top. when it comes to P4P your only as good as your last fight.

What a DA. Floyd retailated plus they have already touch gloves, maybe he should allow Victor to throw the first punch too huh.

ALso Ortiz knock Marquez out of the ring if they had fought. What a loser.

The TS is an idiot. He needs to realize that Pacquiao was beat in his last fight. Pacquiao and Arum do not want any parts of the #1 fighter in the world. They are scared of the style; can't deal with counterpunchers, let alone counterpunchers with great speed.

They have picked a weird time to make this change, it should have been made a while back though.

and P4P doesn't have credibility so don't stress.
