    This is complete nonsense.

The guy only weighed 150 IN THE RING against Ortiz for crying out loud! If anything, hes still a small WW!

Nah he hsan't outgrown th eweight. His last 3 bouts, he came in at 146, so he definitely hasn't outgrown th eweltereight division.

Remember, he is still a small welterweight. His last 3 fights (ortiz, Mosley, JMM), are the first fights where he has fully became an average welter. His fights against ODLH, Baldimor, Judah ... he was a jr welterweight in terms of physical size. This is why his win over ODLH at 154 was so significant to me. He weighed in at 150 against a reinging jr. midleweight champ, who had been fighting at the weight for at least 5 years. Hate aside, that is imprsessive.

I don't think 154 is a good weight for him to be honest. He will be facing fighters who may very well come into the ring at 170lbs on fight night and he will be facing much harder punchers if he does stick around. Until he has issues with 147, its his best bet to stay there.

Both Pacquiao and Mayweather aren't cutting down much weight (if any) for the weight in, so it's ridiculous to think that he can't make WW anymore. However, it would not be that surprising to see him win a belt against Cotto at JrMW and stay there as a title holder. There are some good fights there against Canelo, Kirkland, etc and as you said, Mayweather filled up pretty well as a big WW lately.

Doesn't he always say how he walks around at about 150? No, I seriously doubt it. A guy like him who's dedicated shouldn't have that type of problem. If anything, he's a small welterweight.

He was at 149 (i believe) for the WBC's 30 day mandatory weigh-in, and weighed 150 in the ring vs ortiz. He's more of a natural 140 lber than 154. The highest weight I've ever seen recorded for him was 152 in the ring vs Marquez. Where do people get this stuff from?
