pacquiao has no problem fighting GBP fighters in the past and has fought hatton just in 2009. the question is, since when did the last time floyd fought a non GBP in-house fight?

I'd actually watch this fight, it's the only acceptable fight aside from mayweather/martinez/marquez

but wait isn't pac's cut too bad to fight in may? or was that just another smokescreen to duck mayweather

I love how people cry about not wanting to see pacquiao marquez 4 because it would be the same result. that makes zero sense to me. if anything, I think the possibility of adjustments being made adds to the allure of the fight. would marquez be able to neutralize pac again? if so, would the decision go his way this time? would pacquiao make adjustments, and make a decisive statement against marquez? secondly why don't people wanna see pacquiao take his career rival (in the ring), the guy who's given him his sternest tests, from fight one through fight three, again? their fights always produce fireworks. it's a great fight all around.

to me bradley has never proven himself as an elite welterweight contender, so why should he get the fight? I guess the berto/ortiz winner would be a great option, buut in my opinion, marquez deserves it more.

they already fought 3 times and all 3 have been closed. I wanna see pac against a welterweight and the best option right now are against ortiz-berto winner. I prefer berto cuz he should be a tougher test for pacquiao.

He is pretty fast himself and could give pac some problems. I think ortiz will be tailor made for pac.

ortiz is pretty fast too, and dangerous when focused. I also think berto is more of a banger, especially if you consider all of his fights that have been tests. he's not a serious boxer at all really. and like you said, they've fought three times and all three have been close...all the more reason for a fourth encounter in my opinion. we're talking about p4p number 1 or 2 in the world against his fiercest in ring rival. situations like that shouldnt be bypassed for fear of another close fight, especially if every round of every fight was exciting.

    Yep!

Judah was The Ring P4P #10 going into the Baldomir fight.

Even after losing consecutively to Baldomir and Mayweather, Judah was ranked #4 at welterweight by the 2006 calendars' end.

I think Berto's passiveness and lack of intelligent killer instinct would make him more tailor made for Pac than Ortiz. At least Ortiz is prime and would weigh 164 lbs.

Apparently Margarito weighing 168 made that victory legendary... Despite Margarito not being a top 1,000 ranked fighter when Pac fought him. That fight was a novelty, nothing more than Larry Holmes vs. Butterbean.

Anyway, Ortiz won the recent head to head. No way you could say a win in 2012 over Berto is better than a win in 2011 over Ortiz.
