That's true to a degree, for a round or 2 at most.

BTW, it's his double & triple left hook that is most scary IMO, not his right hand.

That's my point. You shouldn't be able to just talk your way into a HW title fight. Are you listening David?

Lewis knocked Briggs down with just about every right hand he landed after the 1st round.

Just a baby with the IBF, WBO & IBO titles that would knock you out with an open hand smack.

Why should Briggs get a title fight,he has done nothing to deserve one.Wlad should be forced to fight someone in the top 10.And not Ruiz.

Briggs would merit a shot if he took himself seriously, stayed in shape, stayed active and scored some wins lately. But he has been totally inactive and looks to have gained a lot of weight. You just don't deserve a shot at the world HWT champ by conducting your career that way. Besides anyone who thinks Wlad avoids risks is out of their mind. He is fearless and will fight anyone anywhere anytime. Case in point was when the IBF leapfrogged Williamson over Wlad in the rankings and suddenly forced him to fight Peter. He accepted without complaint.

Ruiz is far from a dummy. he knows better than to step in the ring with a Klitschko.

I agree, go for Dimetrinko, he's big, young, and undefeated, i mean if Haye after1 heavyweight fight and Arreola at 26-0 and only having fought up and comers "deserve" title shots Dimetrinko at 29-0 should get one before shot ass Briggs.

He fights good fighters yes, so he's not a ducker, and i dont think ive ever read anyone on here accusing him of being such. But the moment he steps through those ropes "taking chances" doesnt see the light of day. Just that boring ass jab from 10 feet away.

This is the truth.:rofl:rofl That fight was GARBAGE. Briggs didn't do anything from rounds 2 thru 11. He hurt Sergei in the first, but his stamina was so bad that he couldn't capitalize on it.

The man is a two round fighter at this point.

Briggs would get knocked out. Vlad will fight a mandatory, afterall, he is cleaning out the division. Vitali will fight Haye is Haye gets himself straight.
