If james can win his next 5, with all the amature experience he should be able to move fast and take smith on. I think deagle would box smiths head now, but warren wont risk it yet so how about in about 5 fights time? plus smith is a very beatable champion.

Yep, would be nice for DeGale/Gavin to be moved forward with greater urgency

Hope they both get moved quickly.

Ajose is a waste of space, get Gavin in with him by his tenth fight.

DeGale would beat Smith now IMO.

DeGale seemed to get hit very easy in his last fight.

Anyway, who the Hell is Deagle? James 'The Eagle' Deagle? or James 'The Beagle' Deagle, both top fighters.

you're trying to hard to get banned. tosser

  11. I genuinely was wondering who Deagle was too, to be fair. It just didn't click for some reason.

Like they say, styles make fights, and I think, right now, Smith is the wrong fight for DeGale most definitely.

I do believe he'll be ready for bigger & better things in his next 5-10 fights though

I think people are writing Smith off a little early. One bad fight and now he should be getting beat by a new comer to pro's who's had less than 5 fights :think

Degale has a lot more to prove before he is ready to step up to brit level

  13. Right now, as poor as he's been, Smith stops DeGale I reckon.

Paul Smith's whole career has been one big bad performance, he's yet to prove he is at domestic level imo.

I am sure Degale will be a middle weight when it comes to title level, he was only 168 on Fri, so I am pretty sure he will make 160 with more intense training etc.

Agreed Degale hasn't been on the back foot yet never mind pushed or having to dig deep and people think all this will come in 9 fights?

Morrison, Healy & Kubin were all there to be knocked out and not put up much of a fight. The 1st guy just went into a shell and survive which he did.

Smith takes him at the moment and probably in 5 fights unless Degale's competition is stepped up alot.
