Kessler will most likely take a belt. Mundine got an instant belt. So thats 2 left, with the division getting more better now with the likes of miranda, taylor coming up.

What likely scenario happens? Taylor, andrade, kessler, green, lacy, froch, inkin. Dirrell and ward.

Also with the possibilty of pavlik joining in, wright too maybe. Boy this division is getting exciting:D

    new WBC champ = kessler?
    new WBO champ = ?

who would be the overall winner

Lucien Bute is going to own this division! Today, he will defeat Andrade, and eventually get a fight with Kessler.

As I've noted previously, the SMW division is shaping up very nicely indeed for the next few years.

Kessler, Andrade, Mundine, Bute, Froch, Inkin, Taylor, Miranda, Pavlik all in their late twenties/early thirties.

On the other hand, with Calzaghe, Jones, Hopkins, Woods, Tarver, Johnson retired or teetering on the brink, LHW is shaping up to be very dull and very poor quality.

NotBad Chad Dawson says he can make SMW, he should do it and get himself in the mix with some serious competition.

if he decides to stay at LHW, he should only face opponents who are going up just like him. he would have trouble w/ big punching, young and natural LHW top contenders.

it would be best for him to go back to SMW with all the known guys at MW moving up. he would have a size advantage against them being a natural SMW.

Nobody should get a belt over the phone, throw them into the mix for Kesslers next fight.

For some reason, I really don't like Chad Dawson at LWH, but for some reason, I could see him being destructive at SMW.

how about the guys coming from the lower weights like pavlik, taylor, and wright?

most fighters are young and are in their prime

Great division, I see it something like this

    Kessler A-

Bute B+ (with the potential to improve)
    Froch B
    Mundine B
    Taylor B
    Andrade B-
    Inkin B-

Then there are plenty of decent C class fighters like Bika, Miranda, Pascal etc

froch and inkin fighting may 10th at the UK on the undercard of witter-bradley. This should be a start of the elimination process:yep

Theres also andre dirrell and andre ward, not that i think highly of them but after a year i think they'll be in the mix:yep

Mundine is an overlooked fighter in this division. Very good fighter, he easily beats a big name fighter in Miranda, and I personally pick him to beat Taylor

On his day he really causes anybody in this division problems, and I'd include Abraham and Pavlik in that when/if they move up

    Bute - IBF
    Kessler - WBA
Froch v. Inkin winner - WBC
    WBO - ??? - Pascal v. Miranda winner?

  15. I was thinking along those lines however too I see Froch beating Inkin and Taylor maybe getting mandatory (+winning) the WBO.

For the record (and you can quote me :p) the division belongs to Kessler & Froch unless Kessler moves up.

And for the record Miranda is one overhyped fighter my god the praise he gets here! Taylor would beat him with ease and there's a certain 6 2" gentleman I forsee moving up.....who MUST fight Kessler! Oh my! :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

P.S. Kessler will be the one to move earth and fire to get more than 1 belt; mark my words. That man's a true viking warrior.
