I have Kessler - B+ to A-, but not A- yet.
Bute - B to B+ but closer to B
Froch - B, but unconfirmed - needs to beat Inkin and show improvement, if Inkin is chinny
Andrade - B
Inkin - B, as long as his chin is not less a lot less than very good
Bika - definitely not less than B-
Miranda - definitely not less than B-

(B is world class - decent contender level.)

 

When did Froch beat a world class fighter, close to his prime? Let's wait and see him against Inkin and then let'd go over the top with praise for him. Big punch and great chin are nice, but not enough, if the opponents have very good chins and very good boxing skills.

 

Bika is the Glen Johnson of the SMW division Decebal, he'll never get a belt and if he does it won't stay on him for long. The establishment won't allow it.

 

I don't think we can compare Bika with Johnson...Bika is a gatekeeper, Johnson is/was a level or two above.

 

Well, I pick every B fighter on that list to beat Miranda and Bika comfortably, with the possible exception of Inkin who is chinny. That makes them C+ on mine :yep

 

Inkin might be chinny, but unless you have a lot of power, you won't beat him unless you are a B+ boxer. Inkin, even chinny is not less than B-, I don't think. Inkin beats Bika and Miranda, unless he's unlucky.

Bika is consistant, always improving + hard fight for anyone & I see him being avoided alot I really do. Watch, if he fights Kessler, Froch or Miranda and it's close you can't deny hence my belief in parallels with Johnson

 

Bika definitely isn't as good as Johnson. A lot of what makes him competetive are what I'd call extra-curricular activities, otherwise known as cheating

 

I agree, technically Bika is **** but he takes a punch to throw a punch and steams in like a bulldozer. When I made the reference I'm more talking about the consistant challenge presented by Bika + Johnson rather than similarities in style

 

Froch must have something on his mind to say what he did "...it was a terrible performance from him and I thought Hopkins did enough on the night...Calzaghe was messy and inaccurate with his punches. Nothing really landed on Hopkins. I thought Calzaghe got beat." Obvioulsy this is extremely inaccurate from Froch and must be some sort of code message to Joe. Does Froch really expect to do much better against Inkin in Nottingham on May 10?

 

Kessler is the best SMW and Bute is his biggest competition.

 

Kessler and Bute is a super fight for the future.

Froch may win a version of the title but I cant see him keeping it with much conviction or for very long.

 

I want to see this fight so bad! I think it would be a battle that would be up for fight of the year!

 

Sometime in 2009...both fighters have to be at their peak before this one happens; otherwise, it falls flat...it has to be THE fight at SMW, otherwise...it's not worth it.
