With Margarito getting destroyed and facing suspension..

    Who should Cotto fight in June after he dispenses of Jennings? Things are looking up for Cotto now. The Margo incident can only serve to give him more confidence and the door is wide open for him to claim the top spot in the WW division. Obviously, Mosley is a prime candidate. Berto has expressed willingness to fight him as well. Cintron would be a nice option if he beats Martinez. Two guys he should stay away from for the time being is Clottey and Williams. So who do you guys think Cotto should go after?

    Williams is kind of similar to Margo. I mean different stance and taller but same great chin and high output and above average power.

    To me it will answer alot of questions if he beats Williams.

    I think fighting Williams would be a bad move on Cotto's part at this time. He needs to reestablish himself. Fighting a high risk, low reward guy is not the answer. Yeah, Williams similar to Margo in terms of having a good chin, stamina and power(things that gave Margo problems). Unlike Margo though, he actually has some speed, he can box, he moves his head, he's a lefty, and he's 3 inches taller than Margo. I would wait on that fight if I were team Cotto.

    So why would Cotto want to take that fight! He gains a lot more from winning his title back, not proving he can beat a 154 pounder.

    my answer is from a boxing fan's POV. Not as Cotto's career manager.


    I think Cotto can beat Williams, but its a tough call

    We still do not know if the Margo fight ruined him. So do not be so fast to jump the gun saying he will get past jennings.

    Keep in mind, this man may have takes shots of Plaster paris.

    Cotto would beat Jennings with one hand. I'm not worried about the after effects of the Margo fight against Jennings.

    cintron should realy look for a crack at berto, that would be a very good match up
