Mayweather comes in at no 3 behind pac and JMM simply because they have been fought more recently and won in style. However he will go to no 2 in a few hours after pac gets anailated, behind JMM. Hatton at 3, pac at 4.

That isn't how p4p rankings work though. Sorry.

Mayweather's p4p ranking disappeared with his retirement.
Does Calzaghe continue to be named in the current p4p lists?
    Of course not.

Mayweather has got to start from scratch.

If he beats Marquez then the winner of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao will decide who's #1.
(Sorry, Hatton fans -- Ricky is going to lose tonight.)

If pac loses tonight. Mayweather shouldn't be #1, simply because of "common sense".

    * He still has to re-prove himself

    Exactly.
You can only prove your worth inside the ring, not by resume'.

    Pacquaio.

If Mayweather wins then I would say he would resume his title.

It is Pac now but not for long. Mayweather will defeat both Marquez and Pac.

Manny Pacquiao but Mayweather's only one fight away from being p4p number 1.

pacman is fighting everyone and winning decisively. Although Pacman has not fought Hatton yet and could lose tonight.

Marques does not mean much, but if Floyd can beat Pacman then that is a good win for him.

I don't think PBF should be given back the title as P4P best by default. If Pac beats Hatton, he keeps it no questions asked.
Ideal scenario is that PBF and Pac settle it in the ring against each other. We'll see.

Manny Pacquiao. Tonight's fight left no doubt about that. Even beating JMM won't give him back to crown. He's got to go through Pacfor that. Not saying he's gonna be beat by Pac just that he's gonna have earn it. No backsies after he retired and has been inactive for 2 years.
