Expended a lot of nervous energy. Same thing happened with Mosley against Mayweather.

His sugar levels were abnormal, and there was a factual report on that, so whether or not you want to hate on Wladimir, you have to acknowledge the fact that something was very wrong with him, intentionally or not. He got more pale for every minute he boxed and as the fight was stopped, slumped back to his corner, and you can see when he was attended by the ringside doctor, he was literally unable to open his eyes out of exhaustion.

What independent verification is there of this, and how abnornal? If true its probably Wlad f*cking up his PEDs, Wladdy looked scared to death in their plain and simple, and ran out of steam because of the nervous energy

I'm not hating on Wladamir, your a Wlad nuthugger looking for excuses, and this thread is nothing more than a thinly veiled atempt to excuse a loss

Mate, please. I was the only man rooting for Brewster on here as they fought both times, so give it up now.
I saw something very suspicious, and I want to see what everyones thoughts on this are. Yes, there have been previous threads on the matter, but now that years has passed I want to see what people have to add to it.

I am not looking for an excuse, at all.. Wladimir Klitschko LOST, and I always accepted that. But you can count the number of body shots landed from Brewster in all five rounds on one hand, and I doubt body shots makes your ass go pale.:lol:

Brewster won, and this is most certainly not a thread aimed at dismissing his achievement.

This one will probably remain a mystery. What still puzzles me is that Wlad fell down after the round was over, after Brewster stopped hitting him. Then he got up and was staggering to his corner. Then the referee stopped the fight. It was between rounds, and Wlad had about a minute to recover. If there was something wrong with Wlad, and it certainly seems there was, the outcome was not likely going to be any different, but it's the only time I have ever seen a referee call off a fight between rounds as a fighter is heading back to his corner.

In the second fight the tempo was much more to Wlad's liking and the action was far less physical then the first encounter, Klitschko kept Brewster at the end of the jab for most of the second contest while in the first he was actively trying to knock him out.

Now, what happened to Wlad is consistent with the symptoms of high blood sugar: dehydration, loss of focus/vision, dizziness, disorientation... although those are also the symptoms of exhaustion and of a concussion. I would not be surprised that Wlad's team was trying something 'new' in his supplements or pre-fight regiment - I WOULD be surprised to find out that it was someone from Brewster's camp.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with him as regards to poision - as confirmed by the INDEPENDENT ringside doctor.

Quality post, and yes, its probably VERY likely that they tried out something new just prior to the fight, that somehow messed him up. (As he had just got Manny Steward as an addition to his team)

Do yourself a favor and read the initial post, where did I hint poisoning?!
All I pointed out was he didn't look himself, and was struck by extreme exhaustion, probably due to his sugar levels. :patsch

Look at the bomb Brewster lands flush on Wlad in that pic, yet Wlad took it... ya, real **** chin he has :patsch

Anyways, as a huge wlad fan.... that was a horrible night for me. Do i think foul play could have been an issue? I suppose its possible.

I honestly think that Wlad simply didnt conserve his energy... yes, one can spout punch stats, but those only tell part of the story. It takes a lot less energy to hit a heavybag for 15 minutes, then to do 15 minutes of hard sparring right? even if your hitting the bag MORE then your actually punching in the ring...

When Wlad is able to tee off on an opponent whos not offering much resistence and being kept at bay due to his offence, he can stay in that rythem and stride and put up those numbers, like the ray mercer fight, the second brewster fight, ect... but if one watches the first brewster fight again, wlad wasnt just putting on a hailstorm of punches, he was doiing so with brewster walking through hell and back to win, to continue to push wlad to the edge, and i think wlads adrenaline, intense pace (remember, intensity will alter energy despite numbers being similar) nerves, and brewsters non stop will sapped wlad until he had nothing left...

    just IMO

He did himself more damage then Brewster did.

I wasn't thinking this, but I was thinking that maybe he came off them too soon in order to pass the postfight screening, which effected his stamina.
That of course is all 100 % conjecture and I've nothing to back it up, other than that it was very, very strange the way he gassed out seemingly in a snap.
I think that is much more plausible than the idea that Brewster's camp had something to do with it.
