So, you're definitely not going to be trying cruiser anymore from now on?

    Best of luck.

Still would love to see you make a run at cruiserweight, perhaps not against Mchunu again, but against some of the cruiserweights who rely on strength, like Lebedev.

    OK, makes sense.

It has nothing to do with difficulty making it, though? So if there were say a big money opportunity down the line (like say a title shot at Huck, with whom you've had a war of words) we might see you down there again?

Mchunu wasn't prepared right.. He waS Crafty.. no film.. has A Lara type style where he for5ced me to force the action which I wasn't prepared or expecting to do that... 2nd time if happens ill be more prepared & ready.. But Huck is on my radar If he moving up like he say he is!

Eddie how did you see Fury vs Haye going?

Eddie Chambers vs Lucas Browne on the Fury v Chisora undercard is sounding good:good

I see similarities in your fight vs. Mchunu and Lara's vs. Austin Trout.

Pure boxers having to fight off the front foot against slicksters, throwing the gameplan away.

What about Ola Afolabi? I am sure he is up to fight someone like yourself, even at heavyweight.

Nah don't believe its diffiucult.. but yes if money was there I would.. against mchunu I only received only 10 grand & forced into a fight with a unknown opponent.. who people discovered after me..lol with Fury my financial situation will be much better... 10 grand cant even pay for a average camp..lol

I tried to get Alfolobi & Lateef kayode during that time.. But Business & Promoter issues played a big factor...now it be easier to make fights like that happen

Also, while you're here (since you only drop by once in a blue moon), can we get your thoughts on a couple things?

First, Jermell Charlo? Last week he gave your friend, the always game and tough Gabe Rosado, perhaps the most convincing loss of his career outside the legitimate TKO defeats to GGG and El Perro. (forget the Kid Choc TKO on cuts; Quillin was clearly outshone by Charlo if you compare their Rosado performances...and Quillin fought him above Gabe's best weight!)

...and on Thabiso Mchunu's future? He looked really sharp again last week schooling Durodola. Obviously it was no fluke when you guys met even though he was little-known; he seems positioned now to become a real force @ CW. Obviously he owes a large part of that momentum to your name and jacking your swag, but the better he does for himself the less that defeat will sting, I'm sure? Do you think he will capture a world title, and how do you see his untouchable little pest style playing out against top cruisers?

Third, is there really no bad blood between Steve & Tyson? A lot of us feel Steve got done raw in that fight. He was doing really well and the upset looked to be on the table when he basically got kayoed by rabbit punches. They may have personally buried the hatchet and become friendly in training camp, but Steve has to be a little salty about that big chance getting dashed just because a big ass dude fouled him behind the head with a ref who didn't have any control. Are we pretty much never getting that rematch?

    Thanks!! :good
