    Why do you think Cotto is now using Everlast gloves as opposed to Cleto Reyes gloves which he has been using his whole career?

    anyways at 154 he has to use 10oz gloves instead of 8oz so that makes a difference for sure.

    Maybe, but maybe the extra weight at 54 will equal it out. That hook he crumbled foreman with was pretty dam good.

    Cotto is endorsed by Everlast now, and a guy who posts over at another board actually works for Everlast, and the reason Cotto's using their glove is because it's the new MX Pro fight glove, made specifically for punchers. He said a lot of loyal Reyes guys are switching over to the Everlast MX glove now.
