With the Ortiz victory, does Deontay Wilder already surpass both Klitschko bros on the ATG list?

Neither Klitschko has ever beaten a fighter as big and skilled as Luis Ortiz.

    Let's look at the facts.

    6'4"
    240 lbs
    KO power in both hands
    Great footwork
    Elite fundamentals & technique
    349-19 Amateur record

The only two times a Klit has fought big men with "elite" skillsets....one got 12-0'd and the other only lasted half a fight before his face was torn off.

    Discuss.

You just named a bunch of Cruiserweights and average sized Heavys...and a part-time golfer :duh

There's no way in hell anybody can make an objective argument that a Klitschko has beaten anybody as big & skilled as Luis Ortiz.

Wilder surpassed both Klits last night in greatness. :deal:

All those guys you just dismissed are better than Ortiz.

And that “Part Time Golfer” was a more dangerous southpaw than Louis also.

    LOL

If you think any of those dudes have better boxing skills & fundamentals than Ortiz. You have no clue what you're even watching in the ring.

Not only is everybody you named have boxing skill deficit when compared to Ortiz...they also have a size & power deficit.

THE KLITCHKO'S HAVE NEVER BEATEN ANYBODY WITH THE COMBINATION OF SIZE AND SKILL OF ORTIZ

    That's a fact.

    Corrie Sanders???? Really pal???? :lol::lol::lol:

He's defeated 2 Ring top 10 heavyweights now. If that's not GOAT, I don't know what is. Forget the Klitschkos, he's past that now. I'm struggling to see how anyone can put fossils like Ali or Louis or hypejobs like Tyson or Foreman over him.

Corrie Sanders was 6'4 230. So if he is a average sized heavyweight then how is Ortiz not? Ortiz started has weighed as low as 220. He just comes into most fights out of shape.

Alexander Povetkin is slightly shorter but a much bigger puncher and has more skilled than Ortiz will dream of having.

In fact I could just name so many fighters but you will make a excuse. Ortiz was a skilled amateur. He isn't as skilled pro. He is just a fat 50 year old guy who best win came against David Allen and Bryant. Deontay Wilder isn't even a top 100 all time great yet. Ortiz is the only person he faced who was ranked in the top 10 and as I said Ortiz isn't good. Any half way decent boxer would completely make a fool of him like the slow limited Ortiz did.

A good win for sure but as always people on here go overboard. Wilder passed a gut check good. Now he just needs to be a bit more reasonable in the Joshua negotiations and he can then either prove he's as good as he says he is or more likely get his ass handed to him.

Still, he can now never be remembered as a totally coddled fraud he never beat anyone before getting beat. Good for you Deontay.

Ortiz 6’3 76inch reach 240 pounds, but carrying a lot of fat. Not very athletic, and has poor stamina.

David Haye 6’3 78inch reach very lean and powerful 210 pounds. Very athletic, good stamina and more skilled than Ortiz.
