With the Ortiz victory, does Deontay Wilder already surpass both Klitschko bros on the ATG list?

I don't care about punch stats because they are inaccurate and unreliable. They mean nothing! Wladimir Klitschko could get hit continuously for all I care. But as long as they aren't inflicting significant damage, then they are irrelevant. This is pro boxing and not amateur boxing where effective punches have greater precedence.

Luis Ortiz isn't even getting close to Wladimir Klitschko. He is FAR FAR FAR slower than Sultan Ibragimov. And Ibragimov only had marginal success against Wladimir Klitschko.

Sultan Ibragimov is no Malik Scott. Malik Scott drew with Vyacheslav Glaskov. Luis Ortiz NEVER ONCE beat a southpaw as skilled, as fast, as elusive, as powerful and as good at counter punching as Sultan Ibragimov. It never happened!

Luis Ortiz is no better than Alexander Povetkin either. Povetkin is a more proven heavyweight than Luis Ortiz. So no, Deontay Wilder beating Ortiz isn't enough. He has to dominate the heavyweight division for at least a decade by remaining the number 1 heavyweight in the world. Until then, he doesn't qualify as someone who could be compard to either Klitschko.

No, it isn't meaningless. An accomplishment is meaningful. And that accomplishment is more meaningful than anything Luis Ortiz accomplished at pro boxing.

Who gives a crap about Austin here? Holyfield and Shannon Briggs > Bryant Jennings. End of story! And winning at least one world title > winning 0 world title and only beating Wladimir Klitschko's left overs in Tony Thompson and Bryant Jennings in one's only claim to fame / worthiness.

Wilder got destroyed by Wlad in sparring, it's common knowledge. Wilder was less experienced and most likely learned he has to handpick tomato cans to earn money as fighting against top notch fighters is very risky business with his egg-shell chin.

Sultan Igbragabum did not try or make any effort whatsoever to get near Wladimir Klitschko. It was a disgrace of a title fight that killed the HW division stone dead and both combatants were to blame.

Slow Thompson who could barely walk entered into the Klitschko wheel house time and time again. Statuesque lump Sam Peter knocked Wlad around the ring for 70% of the fight and Wlad spent most of it on top of his back.

Its obvious you don't and have never watched any of these fights. Wlad was an awful controller of distance , it doesn't matter what bum he fought , they ALL easily penetrated his blast radius.
Holding Ortoz would be a critical mistake as Ortiz had the size and power to shatter his glass jaw on the spot.
If southies like Sanders can cream him in one round and Thompson can give him one of his hardest ever fights ( his own trainers words) then Kong has a good shot of pulling the upset.

It tells you all you need to know about how dire that era was when a ordinary guy like Thompson is one of the divisions best fighters . LOL

I never said it wasn't accomplishment , i said its meaningless when you try to claim a guy is better than another guy just because they won a trinket.
Non title holder Tua would obliterate title holder Peter.

The fact Holyfield got a shot at Iggys title FIVE YEARS after he was taken apart and stopped by James Toney is indicative of how bad the division was at that time.
45 year old Vander had no business near a ring , never mind a title fight. Amazingly he was still never hurt or dropped in 12 round against prime Suckton. lol

The only prime guy Iggy fought was a Harlod Scoriners left over who he couldn't even beat.

Ortiz > Rubble. Ortiz H2H > Rubble..Because Barney would not engage Ortiz and would prance away like he did vs Klitschko.

Vlad's kryptonite was power and the ability to counter, he would never fight a Luis Ortiz or a Wilder for that matter. Vlad would leave power punchers for his bro to fight. Corrie Sanders had power and could decently counter andd i don't think Vlad could ever have beaten him. His long reign is a mirage if you want to pretend he did it alone, in the weakest heavyweight era even.

    Give me a break.

Klitschko has beaten: Byrd x2, Povetkin, Haye, Peter x2, Brewster, and some others I'm leaving off. Seriously, aside from Ortiz, Wilder has not beaten anyone even in the same ballpark as those guys. This era of HW boxing is horrible aside from Fury and AJ.....Wilder has fought neither.

Say Wlad ducked Fury and went on the exact run Wilder did for the last 3+ years this guy and some others would be outraged. I think you can take a guess as to why he likes Wilder but hates Wlad.
