That would require Povetkin to actually step up..so not likely. Adamek's plate is already full for this year anyway.

Well, hypothetically speaking, would be a very decent fight, right?

Why not? Both are rated fighters. That's gonna be a very good match up.

Exactly. Why talk about something that won't happen?

    Close pointless thread.

We can at least dream of having two evenly matched exciting fighters going at it, like we had in Liakhovich - Brewster? :smoke

Would be a great fight for me. I actually planned to start this thread.

Very close IMO. I'd slightly lean towards Adamek's workrate winning him a decision.

Pointless? The TS is just talking of the possibility and asking how good this fight can be.

This would be a good fight folks. We all know it.

Better than Bradley-Alexander for ****s sake..and people say the Heavyweight division is **** poor.

There are as much good matchups than in any other division.

    :good

The heavyweights endless chase for "the saviour" has the division drying up, now we need fights, we need matchups that can stay on peoples lips even after the fight has happened.

The HW division is not that bad some people think.

Adamek, Povetkin, Haye, Boytsov and Chambers are 5 decent HW´s. If they fight all each other, it would be great toss-up fights.

And with guys like Helenius, Pulev and Boytsov coming on strong we may add people to the growing list of decent top10 contenders.

I don't think many of those guys beats the Klitschko's, but they can put on a show by fighting eachother.
