IMO his best option is to unify with Hlatswayo. Having two belts would make it harder for the top WW's to ignore his challenges. One of them would surely have to fight him if he got enough backing from the networks/money on the table.

 

For some reason I thought Andre Berto/Isaac Hlatswayo was in the works.

Those are essentially the only ones worth mentioning...

Quintana and Cintron would beat him...Judah would give him fits and POSSIBLY beat him...if its in the 4 round range he's known for.

And Isaac is a belt holder...nice unification

 

No more catch-weights! Please! No catch-weights with light welters and light middles. I hope they don't do that. It seems like I'm on board with everybody about a unification. Andre and Isaac should go at it. Berto thinks too highly of himself and wants more money than he deserves or he thinks not so much of himself and doesn't really want the challenge of a Mosley or he'd have made the deal when it was offered. If he thought he could beat Mosley, he'd have known how much money would be in his fights after that.

 

He should take the unification match against Hlatswayo. It's a fight he should win with minimal risk and it will give him another title hence more power in the loaded ww division.

He's on the cusp of getting a mega fight.

If Cotto loses to Manny, Berto would be a solid redemption fight and a way for him to get back a title or 2.

If Floyd some how loses, Berto would be the perfect way for him to get back some leverage by winning a couple titles.

 

Honestly I don't know who wants to watch a Berto fight, The boy ain't that good, he boring as ****, holds to gotdamn much.
