Don't you think suddenly gets the itch to take on Mayorga again? I mean, Forrest is really a top-notch fighter, he has the range, power and skill to give anyone a tough fight. But he just couldn't seem to have the plan to beat Mayorga as convincingly as Oscar and Tito. I bet Mayorga would've taken this fight as he is already training for one, and he will believe he can also win a title too, against a man that he already beat twice. Just my two cents, Forrest will turn the tables and win a clear-cut decision.
As long as they keep the weight the same. It wouldn't be fair for Mayorga who has been training to make 162 to suddenly find out he has to cut down to 154
Mayorga isnt the same fighter that beat forrest the first 2 times, i really do think that forrest would have a chance. but forrest didnt look so hot himself when he and ike fought tooth and nail... i didnt see the carlos fight, i heard he looked better. but to me its, been there, done that. id rather see mayorga against cintron margarito ike quartey mosley cotto ouma mayweather
Forrest lost the first one becuase he got rushed and caught. He lost the second because he was intimidated by Mayorga. The third time around he will be much smarter and whoop Mayorga.
i think mayorga vs miranda would be a great shoot out , both guys have ko power and love to brawl , i know edison is moving up to super middle weight but if they could agree on a catch weight it would be a good fight imo
