I really don't want to see him return but as a loyal supporter I'm in board. With 2 years out if the ring and his age it's impossible to know. But It's safe to say that he's probably still top 10-15 at the very least.
I would like to see him come back, beat a ranked WBC opponent then fight Wilder and knock him senseless. Then and only then will we have chance of seeing an undisputed champ... Because Wilder's not stepping in the ring with Joshua anytime soon, he's going out of his way to avoid him.
Wladimir will do a lot better than most people think. He will beat most, if not all. You heard it here.
Wlad should probably stay retired imho, because he was visibly slowing down. I'll still root for him though.
Well I have no idea how good will Wlad be when he comes back, that's why I was talking about his 2017 form. And you are right of course however if WK lands his right or left hook... Wilder can't take it.
I'm not sure who is sillier, Wlad for coming back at 43/44 or DANZ for paying all that money to get him back... I like Wlad but this will just end up like RJJ or JT watching an ex great looking bad against guys they would have destroyed in their prime.. In saying this I'm sure Wlad will be stage managed to look good until his is offered up to be a sacrificial lamb. Sad...
First of all, Wlad brings money - so here is DAZN's reason. Secondly, Klitschko is in a great shape throughout his entire career and still regularly does sparring. There were fighters that fought succesfully at his age. His style of fighting is pretty compatible with advanced age. None of you know how does he present himself in the ring right now so I really don't understand why so many of you doubt him and don't want to see him fight again. It would be great for HW boxing. Ortiz is like 10 years older than Wladimir with heart problems but everyone wanted the Cuban to fight AJ.
