****ing hell. People just genuinely liked him mate. He's genuinely likeable. If some ******s think that made him an uncle Tom that's their racism not the public who backed him. ****ing twats.

what we would give for a British heavyweight like Bruno now though, yes he wasnt the most talented but sheer dedication and hardwork, he used to 'gas out abit ' part mental part physical , if he was boxing today and had someone like kerry assisting on nutrition and strength work who knows.

Watch the fight again aginst Lennox, yes he lost but he was outjabbing him and in virtually everyones opinion winning, ask the four guys who beat him was he crap and they all say he was one of their toughest opponents.

not so much an 'uncle tom' more the fact that he used his blackness as a bit of a pantomime act, the whole 'know what i mean harry' **** made middle england a bit more comfortable., then there was tyson across the pond who made no apologies for his blackness, it made frank look a bit stupid but we all gotta make a living right?

didnt make many apologies for his conduct and being a convicted ****** either, Tyson is hardly a roll model to aspire to, saying the odd ' know what i mean' and ' black and decker' doesnt really compare

I can't disagree with that and I despise the Tories (and then some). Frank was always a great character and a quality heavyweight boxer during my youth.
