Who wins this fight and how would it go? Both about the same size with Jennings having the reach advantage and Spoon having the power. 12 rounds.
Terrible Tim was one of the very best boxers of that era. Even with his lack of experience he actually beat Holmes in my opinion. I guess he would have beaten Jenni as well, clearly on points.
I think spoon was more complete, specifically his ability to go to the body. But this fight will be controlled at a distance. I also like Tims head movement better. He showed his ability to deal with an all time jab, I think he would deal with Jennings by UD in a good fight. Jennings has shown some good ability, but I wouldnt put his performance on par with Witherspoons the night he fought Holmes.
I always felt Holmes won his fight with Witherspoon. Many disagree but I felt Holmes controlled most of the first 9 rounds. As for this matchup it's a good fight. I would lean Tim by UD in a close fight.
