    He was 234 lbs for the Bruno fight and ponderous.

    Agreed. He was fleshy and trailing the wooden, immobile Bruno before Frank predictably sputtered out late. The Holmes effort was unquestionably his finest.

    Absolutely. While I give Tim Credit for coming back to beat a solid contender in Bruno his performance in that fight was less than flattering. Taking on Holmes with only 15 fights under his belt and fighting him to a near draw was of a far greater magnitude both in performance as well as in importance. under different judging he might even have walked out of that ring as lineal champion that night.
