    Tim Witherspoon versus :
    Rex Layne
    Harry Mathews
    Don C*ckell
    Roland Lastarza

Prime for prime ,who wins these matchups?

Witherspoon on his absolute best night beats each of them hands down using his first Smith performance each time but Witherspoon as he actually was switched on one night unmotivated the next facing them one after the other he will lose one fight. Did he ever beat four rated guys back to back? No. And he would not here. How can you count on a guy who schools Smith then gets wiped out in a rematch?

Exactly what part of PRIME FOR PRIME are you having difficulty with ?
Did any of those names ever beat 4 rated guys back to back ?
What the f*ck is wrong with you?

    Sorry Mcvey.

On his "Tokyo Douglas"night night Witherspoon beats all of them.

...Otherwise he loses one fight out of four.

I cant see Timmy losing to any of them if he brings his C level game.

    Tim beats all of them

But so what? Those guys weren't marcianos best opponents

Id love to see Tim against the Walcott who blasted away a prime ezzard Charles. That's a very close fight

I would favor Tim easily over any Dempsey victim

Tim would make Willard Fulton and firpo look helpless

Tim is a very underrated fighter when he shows up to fight. Waste of talent.

He would have found a way to loose to one of them!

    My bet is 50/50. 2/4

Tim was not prime every night.

A prime Layne vs Tim would be a good fight.

Why exactly would a prime Witherspoon do so?
