Without PEDs, Roy Jones would've just been another Khan is my guess

Another silly thread from a well known troller and nuthugger

While I am no RJJ fan and his use of steroids does put a big question mark over his whole career as it does with every other known PED user, he was far more than just talent like Khan.

While Jones Jr used PED's he was also known to be a gym rat, he trained incredibly hard, sure the PED's may have allowed him to train for longer and at a greater intensity but he still put in the work. Hunter himself said Khan didn't train between fights prior to working with him, Khan only trained when he had a fight scheduled. Jones Jr treated boxing as a career and put the work in and Khan did not.

Jones Jr also had skills Khan never had. Jones Jr could counter punch, he used the pull counter, he showed far superior defensive skills and upper body movement. Yes Jones Jr was a tremendous physical specimen but he had some knowledge, skills and a work ethic to go with that talent while Khan prior to Hunter was nothing but talent.

Jones was jobbed in 88. He has the 88 gold medal in case you didn't know. The decision was overturned.
Edit. I remembered this wrong. However pretty much everyone admitted there was injustice and Jones was declared the most outstanding fighter of the 88 Olympics.

Have you ever watched Legendady Nights ?

It talks in detail as to some of the extreme training routines big Roy put Jr
Through. Making him do over and under techniques with naila exposed anove his head making him spar hw's with one arm tied behind his back.

There is a reason he was a standout ..If you get a chance check it out.

    Guess what! Roids arnt everything!

Jones had unbelievable talent with and without the juice.

Comparing him to Khan is disgraceful to be honest. And Im a fan of Khan's

The majority of top fighters/athletes cheat Aswell btw.. You are just to naive and narrow minded to believe it

Roy Jones was a far more complete athlete and boxer, he had much more tools dont understand how people think it's just khans decision making, their talent levels are nowhere near each other Jones had way more natural ability and could do a variety of different things, Khan is just a freak athlete who if he builds ups enough rhythm can win more rounds than any oppoent anyone around his weight if he can survive or avoid a few big shots.
