    I really don't know how respond to this. If in fact you believe all of Wards personally perceived legal offense wasn't impactful or significant enough then maybe this is viable option.

    Well, the doubling over and holding his cup was a pretty natural reaction.

    One guy was so hurt he actually went down to his hands and knees. The other stayed upright. One guy continued throwing punches, the other did not. In both instances we had hurt fighters that deserved to continue the fight.

    The reaction that prompted Weeks to step in and wave off the fight was not Kovalev wobbling from the right hand or fighting back against Ward in the corner, but crouching down and holding his cup. That is when Weeks stepped in and said Kovaelv was not fit to continue.

    I would rather be Kovalev before my cup got blasted.

    Nope, I'm located just outside Smoketown of Louisville, Kentucky. I invited my dear friend Pimp C to come and pay me a visit if he really wanted me to stop posting here. And so... I'm still posting here. If I stop posting it's because of real life obligations. I'm not intimidated by anybody here.

    The cup wasn't blasted you're sensationalizing the entire sequence of events minus Kovalevs obvious state of vulnerability. Ward was still in complete control of the situation even while being attacked he adapted well, Sergey was in a precarious place in the 8th round.

    I'm rarely the presumptuous type but I trained for several years in NYC under former champs and I've been hit low what happened during this fight was far from the kinda cup shots I've absorbed. Those shot for the most part were clean (it had to be a strange sign to see Kovalev pull a Hopkins type reaction to a tap that did land in between the belt just above Kovs man parts). ....the lowest shot delivered by Ward showed about three quarters of Wards glove landing on the belt line other body shots that had Sergey quivering landed right in the belt line above the black of his trunks case closed.

    I would much rather be Ward for sure...still energetic, coherent and trustworthy during times of adversity.

    We certainly saw a different fight and that's all there is to it.

    They don't seem willing or able to factor in the effects of the low blows which led to Kovalev's inability to defend himself nor to factor in the ref bias. Maybe because they just don't see them as low blows and don't see the ref as biased? I once met a German lady who said that Germans had started WWII because they were provoked. The human mind is a strange thing.

    BTW
    Kov was rabbit punching Ward and that is also a foul. He should have had a point deducted.

    The show was closed. He stopped Kov who couldn't take it to the body.

    The cup certainly was blasted, it's on film. I don't believe Ward was in complete control of the situation, given he was in survivor mode and couldn't get off a punch until the last second of the round.

    It's been established that the majority of the punches you considered low were indeed legal so that argument is null and void unless your into the conspiracy theory excuses, I can't help you there because none of us can prove or disprove that Ward was in Weeks pocket. Of course you do realize how ridiculous that sounds. How did the pre-fight plans go? Ward: Hey Tony I'm going hit Sergey with legal belt line punches that you will establish as legal before the fight. Weeks: No problem bro I'll be sure not take points and DQ you for hitting Sergey with legal shots on the belt line. Checks in your locker TW wink wink....

    You've got to be kidding me, do you not see Kovalev's elbow influencing the trajectory of that punch that still manages to catch the lower portion of the belt line? This was a low shot that hardy made the impact you claim. The fact that this shot happened second before the stoppage does not negate the what Ward did prior and it certainly was not the show closing determining factor.

    I don't see such things as far-fetched as you do based on personal experiences and experiences of others. Servetus went to listen to a sermon of Calvin and Calvin had him arrested and burned at the stake. I once visited my cousins whom I considered trustworthy and found out that they had been planning to provoke an altercation in order to throw me out of a fourth floor window. My father hired a lawyer once and after the case was lost he caught the lawyer laughing and shaking hands with the defendants. The truth is you can't trust anyone.
