Given that nobody wants to fight Junior at 140, how would he fare if he moved up a weight?

He's definitely got more power than Hatton who struggled at 147, so would he have success at the higher weight?

Witter is a naturally bigger man, an inch or so taller, with five inches extra reach. He isn't as 'thick set' as Hatton though, so would probably be about the same build wise.

He doesn't struggle to make 140, so other than to take big fights, I see no reason to move up. He would probably be able to make 135, so why not move down?

Trouble is - he still wouldn't be the biggest name at lightweight in Britain, as Amir Khan is coming through. Also, Hennessy has Jon Thaxton in his ranks, so having two fighters at the same weight may prove counter productive.

I wouldn't see him having much more impact on 147 than Hatton. What many don't realise, is that Witter ain't all that!
