Witter/Hatton: Blame Ricky!

Why should he have to be a big draw to get a big fight, If he's a good an tough challenge than Ricky should face him.

He Is right though, Ricky got the silver spoon In his mouth treatment while Witter got his belts the hard way.

Callazo and Urango were big names yet Ricky fought them two.

 

Whjy hasn't witter tried to get other fights though he only goes on about hatton, if he had fought paulie and a couple of others tha would force hatton to face him as there wouldn't be anyone else to fight.

 

By fighting somebody recognised worldwide as a legit top 5 fighter.

2 fights ago he fought someone ranked120 and has lost 10 fights.

 

Witter seems to take it one step further though. He seems to believe Hatton has gotten the respect & recognition he should have had. Hatton made his name without Witter so why could Witter not make his name without Hatton?

It's not Ricky's fault people preferred watching him to Witter. I do want to see this fight happen but Witter is older than Hatton & could have made better career moves & shouldn't still be reliant on Ricky for that big payday.

 

Witter has beat 4 top10 140lbers - Harris, Corley, Ndou, Kotelnik - 3 of those were past or future champs and Kotelnik was robbed in his WBA titleshot and is mandatory for the WBA yet again. He is fighting and beating top 140lbers

I do want to see the fight but I can also understand Hatton's standpoint. This thing has become personal & Witter has shown Hatton a lot of disrespect. I dont believe for a second either man is afraid of the other. Also, apart from the Harris KO, Witter didnt excite with the wins you have mentioned hence why he still has a low profile.

 

what is hattons stand point? hatton also talks alot of ****, he gets a pass for it because he is "one of the lads", witter talks alot of **** about hatton but what about the time hatton spit his gumshield out on witters face when witter was ringside for one of his fights?

If witter went out and knocked out paulie and torres and then called out hatton people would take notice as hatton would have no where to turn. well Witter sounds a bit daft with the black thing, but he's been calling Hatton out for years and Ricky is still being a ***** with a different excuse all the time. It's ****ing pathetic.There's not one excuse from Hatton or one of you zealots that washes. Not one.

Lets make this clear, I am not a Hatton zealot. You need to separate what is my opinion & what is Hatton's opinion. If you want my personal opinion I think they should have fought about 5 years ago. I also think they are both acting like idiots with regards to each other.

By the same token, Hatton shouldn't put his career on hold for Witter. The next fight is a crucial one for Hatton particularly if he does intend to fight five more fights like he said. Hatton has the backing of HBO, what does Witter have? If Hatton's offered more money by HBO to fight someone more marketable than Witter do you think he should just scupper that to give Witter what he wants?

Witter needs to find another fight & bide his time. He needs to look at fighters that are available ie not Malignaggi. Hopkins & Castillo would be options. Whilst it's not ideal it would help raise his profile & I will say if he stays unbeaten he'll be unlucky if he doesnt get Hatton in the ring.

You can call me what you want but I'm being realistic here.

 

Your just a blind hatter, hatton should fight witter no doubts but if he doesn't witter should be looking at othe rfights instead of just crying about fighting hatton and being left out of the money. If he has a bigger fan base and hadn't had so many boring fights he would have plenty of options instead hatton is the only way he can see a big pay day. Why doesn't he want to fight torres or paulie or move up and beat some champions at 147, all he cares about is making a quick buck of the back of hatton.
