**** Witter. He has never one anything to be calling out fighters like Hatton. He's a ****. he's crying "Hatton won't fight me!", yet what has he ever done to make the fight? Beat Vivian Harris? **** that. If he wants the fight, he should be fighitng the best. he needs to make Hatton fight him. There is no incentive for Hatton to make this bout - He can fight easier fights for less money. People don't understand that boxing is a business. It's not all about ducking. it's about the money. Right now, Lazcano offers similar money to Witter, so why should Hatton fight a much more dangerous fighter. By the way, who the **** is "Timothy Bradley"?! Like I said, witter should befighitng big names. It's not enough to call the best out all the time. he should fight the 4th best, then the 3rd, then second, then 1st and then challenge the champion. instead, he fights a guy who has one good win - Over a guy with a resume of tamto cans. Witter is a hypocrit.
there is a intersting audio interview from a guy from golden boy - (lenard elerby?) - he said he has ricky's fights planed out for the next year and he is not intersted in witter as witter couldnt draw flys to ****. shame i think it could be a good fight, if HBO aint intersted tho that gives rick the excuses he needs to stay away.
By the way, I want someone to make a case as to why Witter deserves a fight against Hatton more than anyone else.
Surely Hatton has got enough in the bank already, also he would be well paid if he fought Witter. You've just admitted Witter is a much more dangerous opponent but as Hatton repeatedly said in his press conference yesterday, "It's all about the challenge for me". Witter is widely regarded as the #2 at 147 so it's the obvious challenge to take.
I'd pick Malignaggi to outclass Witter. that's the same Malignaggi who offered to fight Witter, and Hatton is almost certainly fighting, by the way :good
The same Maligfaggi who lost his last fight and got a gift? He did not offer to fight Witter stop making **** up
Like Lloyd Honeyghan said "If I was Ricky Hatton, I wouldn't fight Junior Witter." J:Why LH: "Junior Witter beats Ricky Hatton."
writter beat the **** out of hatton and they all know it, the fight will never happen.jr should just fight all the other champs out there and hatton will be forced to fight him or retire. the true champ is witter anyways.well hes the best at 140.
Witter vs Torres is in the works by the way, but this wont even get Hatton to fight him, after Mayweather destroys him again he will retire, you really think he wants to be retired by Witter. Hatton couldn't show his face in public again. Its the best for boxing that Malignaggi beats Hatton.
Malignaggi said "Hatton is a disgrace for avoiding Witter, when I beat Hatton, I will fight Witter, I want to prove I can beat the best out there."
Where the hell does this guy get off?? Does anyone notice the timing of this latest outburst? I.e. about two months before Hatton is due to fight Lazcano and Witter to fight some unknown called Timothy Badboy or something like that! Thus highlighting the fact that Hatton will have more fans watching live at the ground than will bother to watch Witter on tv! Still, can't really blame Witter, he is well aware that besides the incessant chirping Hatton's name there's absolute nothing to arouse any public interest in him. The guy really needs to let this one go. Hatton has two big American fights v Paulie and a Floyd rematch lined up. Even though I don't think he ever beats Floyd, I have to admire his guts for wanting to go at it again. Witter, meanwhile, is 34 now and is in danger of being remembered as nothing more than an irrelevance and Hatton's poor relation. If Hatton has other business to attend to why doesn't he go after a bout with Torres? I'm sure Kotelnik would love a rematch after getting robbed the first time out. Or go and try to make some waves at welter where all the big names are. Otherwise, he's going to fade away the best fighter noone gave a **** about Johnny Nelson style. Witter needs to forge his own legacy rather than trying to tag on Hatton's coat-tails. In 20 years from now, mention Hatton and people will remember the Tszyu, Castillo and Mayweather matches. Mention Witter and people in the U.K. will remember only his incessant bleating about Hatton. Those outside the U.K. would be like "who"?
