Yeah, the reaction on here was distinctly lukewarm, even hostile.

It might be refering to the boxing community on SKY TV, who I'm sure would love to sell this shitty match-up as a "not to miss PPV bonanza".

    Davey 'Boy' Green,

At least we would know someone is going to get knocked out.
Both suffered the most violent KO's I have ever seen.

Can you elaborate on why you think that is?

It's the guy's very first article for anyone so some slack could be given do you not think?

He said he's not coming back .He said he's banned off the board anyway but hopes they give him his licence back so he can decide for himself.

"Ultimate bragging rights"? If they fought now it would just be to see who was the less shot.

Hatton versus Witter would be a decent fight actually, would be a great opening again for both. They would fill an arena, the winner could get a world title shot on the back of it. I'd like to see this.

They are both done at world level. The fight would be a sideshow (or a "farce" as the current cliche goes).

    No sightings of Betty...:huh

It would be a joke if it was made, far past it's sell by date...:yep

But as I have always said, if they made it, my money is on Witter...:good

Have Hagler vs Leonard II on the undercard? :hey

I don't see how Witter can win this one, even though Hatton's weaknesses are largely Witter's strengths, because the reverse is equally true, if not more so :yep

If Hatton comes back (massive IF), it won't be to fight the likes of Witter. He would want a huge name and/or someone who will slug it out with him. That rules out Witter.
