Wouldn't you be if you had hung your whole career on the hope of one big payday and moment in the spotlight and realised you were never gonna get there. He should have started fighting the likes of Ndou/Harris earlier rather than wasting five years fighting cadavers then could maybe have had some of the spotlight in his own right. That Harris win finally got him some deserved attention and then he goes and loses to an unknown in his next fight!
True that. Witter is Witter and has always had the same flaws (uncomfortable leading, one-paced, low work rate, pulling straight back from punches). This time he just met someone who had the perfect tools to take advantage of it (keep the pressure on, throw the looping right, use your own jab). I couldn't care less about the Castro fight, that one proved nothing other than what a hypocrite he was for slating Hatton's comeback opponent Lazcano!
Hatton is still a ways above Mallignaggi in the ability stakes, Paulie is very solid and well conditioned and is indeed tough as hell, but you also need superior skills to beat Ricky. Toughness may not cut it but it may make for a fabulous fight.........
witter needs to shut the **** up hes still bitter because he lost the biggest fight of his career on terrestrial tv on home soil to a then virtually unknown fighter&nobody gives half a **** about him.
Bradley doesn`t want it though, even in HIS own backyard.Lets be honest,he found it awkward beating Witter at only about 70%Witters` best.
Most of those wanted to see Froch vs Inkin - he was top of the bill until the farce with his opponents etc. Witter was supposed to be on a separate bill but Hennessy moved him onto the Froch bill after he lost a fortune on the Witter vs Harris promotion.
