I've noticed he's in a lot of peoples top 25 boxers lists, even making the top 20 of some.

    How??

This guy has spent 90% of his career stinking out the joint in front of one man and his dog. His biggest win is against a guy who only a couple of fights ago got starched by Carlos Maussa.

His biggest claim to fame appears to be his imaginary win over Ricky Hatton that so many people seem to have convinced themselves happened.

Out of interest, can people (especially those who put him in the top 25 boxers) tell me how many times they've seen him and what impressed them?

    Y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-awn.

On a more serious note, I just noticed a pensioner outside my window with her G-string showing on the small of her back.

I don't know whether to be intriuged or disturbed.

I sense another Hatton/Witter pissing contest on the way.

He'll ahve to fight some bigger, better fights to earn my respect first.. he needs to get a fight made with Hatton or Malignaggi.

Overrated in the world is downright absurd statement, if he doesn't make press how can he be an overrated fighter when his record and lack of people wanting to fight him say otherwise?

Its clear his weakness is mental and not in his skill, speed or power, when asked to deliver he has done, when your told your next fight is going to be the winner Floyd Mayweather jr/Arturo Gatti, and you get Colin Lynes that would be enough to make one boxers heart sink dont you think.

But his last fights have been bigger and he is taking his oppurtunity, he should be applauded by fellow Brits yet is lambasted and seeming in some eyes people want him to fail.

    Mikey, he's overrated on here.

As you say, nobody in the wider world knows who he is.

He definitely has style problems, his reluctance to let go off his hands holds him back and he can be put into his shell quite easily.

    I'll be honest, I want him to fail because I think he's a self pitying arsehole. "I'm still black".....what a *****.

How can he be the most overrated fighter in the world on a forum where a slugger with no defence like Kelly Pavlik is compared to Tommy Hearns and Marvin Hagler?

How can he the most overrated fighter in the world, on a forum where Floyd Weatherman fans think no fighter in the history of the sport beats him up to 147?

How can he be the most overrated fighter in the world, when Manny Pacquiao is commonly found higher than Joe Calzaghe on p4p lists?

I dont think he mant that in a racist kind of way, just the last boxer Britain had followed was a man with an Asian background who was cocky as ****, Hatton was the opposite who liked his beer and football and it was easy to relate too.

Maybe Witter wants to look at Hamed, somebody who had the most unorthodox styles going, had incredible power, always looked for the knock out and was very unpredictable fought top class guys regularly and was one of sports most charismatic men in that era.

Then Hatton who is a come forward slugger, who throws punches for 3 minutes and 12 rounds, makes big fights and always looks to put on a show.

Junior Witter with his stuttering punches, stroking of the other guys lead hand and 10 punches per round might find he has no fans because he's booooring.
