If Witter had fought Pauli or Torres and was attractive to the American TV networks you can bet Hatton would be fighting him very soon. Unfortunately if Witter really wants the fight that bad it looks like that is what he is going to have to do. He doesn't appear to be doing much to up his profile any time soon though. He only has himself to blame really. Hatton didn't make himself an attractive boxing proposition though luck alone, he earned it.
Who cares about Shitter? The guy will probably stink it out against Hatton like he did against Corley. It's not really a fight I would like to see. And Vivian Harris was an overrated hype job, please don't use him as some sort of a measuring stick for how good Junior is. Hatton would have done the same thing to him.
Harris and Corley once respected fighters only to be beaten by Witter of course, then they are has beens obviously.
Witter is not to blame for Demetrius Hopkins pulling out of their fight. He just doesn't seem to get the breaks.
Same old Hatton bull**** I see. Some of us remember when all this crap started, way back in Hattons WBF bum a month days. Didn't he say back then when he had the highly prestigious WBF belt that he wouldn't fight Witter unless Witter had a belt on offer? He's got one now, and all of a sudden the excuse changes, for the 50th time. Hatton KNOWS he's not the best fighter at his own weight in his own country, never mind the world. Anyone that's followed this ridiculous saga from the start will see it for what it is, out and out cowardice and shameless ducking. "I won't fight him, because he was nasty to me" :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl Do excuses get any more ****ing wank than that?? Seriously?
I'm getting sick of Witter's crying and moaning. Sure Hatton may be ducking him, I don't care if he is or not - one thing I'm starting to wish I'd see would be someone to beat the **** out of Witter for crying nonstop for a fight with Ricky Hatton. He should have been worried about possibly getting out of the country into the USA to get more attention by HBO or some ****, and actually try to work his way around into a fight with Hatton. It almost makes me wish Hatton beat the hell outta him.
Why is Witter getting stick here when he was asked to respond to a comment made by Hatton :huh Sorry, I meant respond to excuse number 5371 from Hatton :yep Just because Hatton is the favourite of the ****-witted plebians does NOT make him the better fighter, let's get that straight.
It's starting to make me think Witter's handlers are afraid he's going to lose soon so they want a big payday against Hatton before it all goes downhill. His inactivity is mind-boggling considering he wants the biggest fight out there.
Witters had 3 fights in the last 2 years, 1 fight less than Hatton so neither of them are exactly busy. Witters handlers may well be worried because Witter is now 34 and the speed will go sooner rather than later. Hattons knows this, he's got 5 years on Witter age-wise and will play the waiting game rather than take the guy on when he's at the top of his game. The only good fighter Hattons ever taken on who wasn't over the hill was Mayweather, and we all know what happened there. Maybe you could also include Collazo in that and he lost that one too in all truth.
simple...........50-50 fight and hatton wants no part.......plus he wnts another pay day with mayweather
The ref was a ***** in that fight though."I`m fair but firm"-bollocks.He kept splitting them up everytime they got inside which made me feel that the ref was more in favour of Hattons opponent. But Mayweather of course would`ve beaten Hatton anyway even if the rematch at Wembly happens.
