Ricky won't let this fight happen. He couldnt bear to watch his likkle brother knocked out by Witter. Witter would beat this guy for every second of every round, so it wont ever happen.
Id like to see. truth is, Ricky Hatton ducked witter his entire career, hes gunna look a right fat shithead if he gets his little brother take the fight instead, who would get destroyed anyway. Wont happen, coz of ricky again
Im a fan of Junior's i really like his unorthodox style and feel for the guy coz he never really got the credit/limelight he deserved. He's 1 of those fighters when he's on his day noone will look good against him. Not comparing him to Hopkins but he's that sort of fighter. That high risk/low reward (financially too, Junior's not been a big crowd puller) has made him avoided by so many, including Ricky and for this I cant see him putting his lil bro in with JW as good as it would be. Richard Poxon's proving to be a very good matchmaker for Hatton Promotions and may just get Senchenko for 'magic' Matt A Witter-Judah rematch perhaps, was a long time since the 1st and could be a good last chance saloon fight for both faded champs
Ive always liked Witter and never been a fan of M Hatton (or his brother for that really) but Witter hasnt looked good for a while and I feel anyone with a slight bit of a workrate would outwork and beat him. M Hatton would beat him nowadays and clearly
Ok I guess I can ridicule it now hehe. I think you may have a point as Witter relies heavily on reflexes. Problem is as you get older and you slow down, your main weapon is no longer there. Junior I think has needed to adapt his game or I think he risks getting outworked. In terms of class, Witter is way ahead, but I feel the fight could be lost on work rate, as we know matty hatton can put in a solid shift and stay busy. Witter would need to hurt him early and counter punch, whilst still putting together punches himself. If he cannot do that, I do actually see Hatton sneaking a decision. But I still feel Witter gets the job done in convincing fashion, provided he's still got a bit of snap and a gas tank.
Depends on what Witter has left. I think at this point in time it would be a little more competitive than most would presume. Matt is an absolute grinder and IMO horrific to watch but I still begrudgingly give him a little bit of respect for the run he's on lately.
